Mesmer EoE Bomb
Ok, so I ran into a Mesmer EoE Bomb, with 1 R/Mo putting down Frozen Soil and Edge of Extinction (doing 55 dmg when a creature dies).
Now I was in a balanced team, we rushed out, and 7 Mesmers with 5 superior runes I presume, use Illusion of Weakness to kill themselves and do about 385 damage, now what I don't get is, my whole team died, but it happened quite fast, and they didn't have Death Nova either, as they were on another side of the map, but within EoE distance, and none were /N.
So what finishes us of? It happened quick so I don't know what did the extra 200 odd damage to finish me of?

7 foes died for 55*7= 385 dmg
now count how many people on your team it killed and watch it start a chain reaction. they also use energy surge to deal a huge aoe spike.

Don't you just hate that... same thing happened to us once. Now if I see EoE go up I try to get out of the EoE's range... teams who use EoE are up to no good :P.

Twicky, all of us had like; 450-550+ HP, 385 damage wouldn't kill us, and they were out of range for spell-casting, so it couldn't cause a chain-reaction...?

Just found out what it was I think, lol.
They all had pets (Me/R), and there Pets died so it chain reacted.

pets only affect pets.
all they have to do is kill 1 for the chain to keep going. since you can't really tell your teams life by the bar you really have no idea if they were below the 385.
